Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society

The Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society (PATS) represents nearly 3,000 Licensed Athletic Trainers and Athletic Training Students in Pennsylvania.

This is currently the second largest number ofAthletic Trainers (ATs) of any state in the nation.

Further, Pennsylvania boasts one of the highest numbers of accredited Athletic Training Education Programs in the nation (20).

Athletic Trainers are multi-skilled healthcare professionals who hold a college degree from an accredited college/universityand are trained to provide services for those who are physically active.

PATS strives for the continuous improvement and advancement of the profession while delivering quality care and serving as a resource for the public.
